Finsterwalder Brummel hook from Titanal.

Brummel hooks are known from sailing. According to the same principle, the Finsterwald Brummel hooks specially developed for the paraglider industry are manufactured. The Finsterwalder Brummelhaken is used for the connection between the speed system (foot accelerator) attached to the strap with the paraglider and is therefore also called speed system hooks. Almost all paraglider manufacturers use Finsterwalder Brummel hooks.

Although the Titanal roasted hooks are lighter than those made of stainless steel, they also have a strength of over 230 kg. Hooks from conventional aluminum alloys often do not have sufficient strength.
