DescriptionThe SwiftSix is a lightweight version of the Rush 6. Thanks to the light materials and advanced design techniques, we were able to reduce the weight of the sail by 900 grams. This reduces sailing in the case of sailing, increases agility and improves the starting properties. Derived from the Alpina 4, the SwiftSix performance development features shares with the Enzo and Zeno series, and offers the highest glide and XC performance in its class.
The SwiftSix is ideal for many pilots. It has an en B approval, is ideal for experienced intermediate hobby pilots and XC pilots who have SIV experience and fly at least 50 hours a year.
The filling properties have improved significantly, its power at null wind is comparable to some of our simplest umbrellas. The Swiftsix conveys a slight, reaction -loving feeling. Starting in strong winds works effortlessly, and the umbrella shows no tendency to overshoot.
In the air, the Swiftsix is simply fun to fly it. It shows a lot of dynamics, precise handling, high top speed and a high level of XC efficiency. The first part of the braking distance is very precise, and then the brakes are very reactive. Thanks to a new profile, an optimized interior structure and the ACR system, we were able to improve the stability in accelerated flight. The structure of the Swiftsix is the strongest that we have designed so far; Even with aggressive turbulence, the profile remains stable, retains its shape and efficiency, and also shows no deformations or folders at the wing ends. The active control straps, which have already proven themselves with Delta 4, enable the pilot to control absolute control over the angle of attack without deforming the profile chambers. ACR straps are connected to the B and C lines, and enable an umbrella control with a 3-linine design as with a 2-line.
In order to achieve more passive security and a higher fun factor, we kept the extension moderately.
