Brummel hooks are well known in sailing. The Finsterwalder BRUMMEL HOOK and ADJUSTABLE BRUMMEL HOOK, specially developed for the paragliding industry, are manufactured according to the same principle. The Finsterwalder BRUMMELHAKEN is used to connect the speed system (foot accelerator) attached to the harness to the paraglider and is therefore also called a speed system hook. Almost all paraglider manufacturers use Finsterwalder BRUMMELHAKEN.

The adjustable Finsterwalder BRUMMELHAKEN is suitable for ropes between 3 and 5 mm. With this Brummelhaken, the rope length of the foot accelerator can be adjusted quickly and easily. The rope is looped in according to the instructions, thus reliably fixing the set rope length.
