The Finsterwalder Quick-Out is a special paragliding carabiner for quickly disconnecting the paraglider in an emergency. It opens even under load when both locking buttons are pressed simultaneously. In addition to providing a safe rescue option for water, tree, and strong wind landings, it also offers other handling advantages.

The release carabiner is used wherever a reliable connection and, if necessary, quick release even under load is required.

In paragliding, the Finsterwalder Quick-Out is required to detach the paraglider when using rescue parachutes.

Pressing both locking buttons simultaneously allows the pilot to be separated from the aircraft effortlessly. Safety training has shown that detaching the paraglider after an emergency parachute deployment is advantageous.

Replacement interval

The manufacturer guarantees a lifetime of 8 years/unlimited flight hours for the Quick Out, provided that the carabiner is not exposed to aggressive media such as seawater.
