Equipped with the latest UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology, as used in drones, the new pressure sensor integrated into BipBip PRO enables ultra-fast sampling (100 times per second). This pressure measurement, accurate to the centimeter, is processedusing DSP (Digital Signal Processing)specially tailored to the needs of free flight .The result is ultra-accurate and fast response time for altitude and vertical speed.

Unlimited flight times with solar energy

With its powerful SunPower solar cell delivering an impressive 193 mW of power, the BipBip PRO is completely powered by the sun, regardless of the settings (volume, sink alarm, LED, etc.). The additional solar energy is stored in a large internal battery, giving you 400 hours of runtime without the sun. The solar cell charges the BipBip PRO as soon as it is exposed to the sun (on or off), giving it unlimited autonomy.

This new solar cell is thinner and more robust thanks to an additional PET/EVA layer, which protects it from falls and scratches.

Much more than just beeps

The BipBip PRO features a new onboard buzzer and a custom amplifier designed specifically to produce a loud and clear sound. This provides a wide volume range (95 dB at maximum volume) without compromising battery life.

Mini variometers are famous for their harsh sound. To allow you to fly in complete serenity, we have developed exclusive acoustics that deliver sweet sounds to the ear. The BipBip PRO features an integrated audio synthesizer to generate sound with envelope modulation (known as ADSR) and produce intuitive and pleasant beeps.

Whether you're looking for uncompromising performance or are more interested in watching the sunset, we've got you covered. With the available settings, you can tailor the instrument to your style with new advanced settings and 2 audio profiles:

• Long and progressive beeps for more detailed information during lift.

Take off, the vario beeps

Previously available on competitive instruments, the takeoff detection feature mutes the vario until takeoff. With BipBip PRO, pre-flight checks and waiting for optimal takeoff conditions are distraction-free (for you and your buddies).
If necessary, the vario can be easily adjusted on the ground by changing the Volume activated. Starter detection can also be deactivated in the configuration menu.

Don't miss any thermals

BipBip PRO Weak lift detector is a short buzzing modulation that indicates weak lift (from -30 cm/s to +10 cm/s). It's not worth turning, but it can give you an indication of stronger thermals nearby.
In a comparison between two pilots, one has the weak lift detector activated, the other does not! The one with the activated detector finds the weak lift area much faster and the buzzer helps him find the thermal core.
