Activation time, heat duration, and maximum temperature vary depending on the oxygen content of the environment. The heat pads are optimized for a semi-closed environment such as gloves, pants or jacket pockets. Hand warmers reach their maximum heat after approx. 30 minutes and then provide a pleasant 40°C and more for up to 12+ hours. Dispose of in normal household waste after use.
