DescriptionThe new Midland G18 Pro is designed for demanding radio operators who want a PMR446 radio capable of communicating over long distances. In normal conditions, it can bridge distances of 12 km and more. With a clear view or from a high vantage point, distances many times greater have been measured. Thanks to its powerful battery, standby times of approx. 19 hours are possible.
With the G18 Pro, radio manufacturer Midland has developed a completely rugged PMR-446 radio that can be used without a license.
It is one of the most advanced models in the PMR446 frequency band. A PMR446 walkie-talkie that is not afraid of dust, shocks, and puddles thanks to its IP67 certification (it can withstand one meter of water for 30 minutes). It now also complies with the MIL-STD810G military standard.
Some of the G18 Pro's features include a scrambler and compander, 500mW ERP output power, and a channeling pitch of 12.5 KHz. Channel search, voice setting, and Roger Beep are also included. It adds 8 PMR446 channels to the previous model, meaning it now has 16 PMR 446 channels (99 channels possible).
