Charly Harness Side Inner Container

The highly recommended rescue device deployments on the G-Force Trainer repeatedly show that pilots find it very difficult to get their rescue device out of their harness in emergency situations. This is because rescue devices have mostly been offered in universal inner containers that fit both harness containers and front containers. However, this compromise is not ideal. Tom Grabner has therefore developed two different versions and optimized them on the G-Force Trainer, which are specially adapted to harnesses and front containers.

The Charly FLAT INNER CONTAINER (TOM GRABNER DESIGN) for paragliding harnesses has a flat, conical shape and rounded corners. Tests have shown that this design can be pulled out of the harness's rescue parachute compartment much faster and with less effort than cube-shaped and volume-compressed inner containers.

The Charly FLAT INNER CONTAINER (TOM GRABNER DESIGN) is suitable for both Charly DIAMONDcross rescue systems and conventional Charly rescue devices. From our point of view, there is no reason not to use it for other rescue devices as well. Please contact us regarding repackaging your rescue system in our containers.

It has a separate compartment for the suspension lines. This is advantageous for safe storage in the harness and controlled deployment in emergency situations. Only after the suspension lines have been stretched is the parachute canopy released, allowing it to open quickly and in a controlled manner. This minimizes the risk of the paraglider and rescue system becoming entangled. The closure elastics are made of rubber strands with a fabric cover. They are much more durable than conventional packing elastics.
