POLARHEAT LIGHT heated gloves are special, snug-fitting, battery-heated gloves that cover a wide temperature range. They have a particularly powerful and highly efficient heating system that also heats the fingertips. The good fit and soft materials ensure good hand and finger sensitivity. This makes them particularly suitable for paragliding, cross-country skiing, ski touring, cycling, or horse riding in spring and fall.

If you are unsure between two sizes, we recommend the larger size, as the gloves tend to be cut slightly small.

CHARLY's innovative Li-ion battery heating system

The image taken with a thermal imaging camera shows the course of the heating wires in the CHARLY gloves and how they distribute heat throughout the entire hand: on the left, a cold hand without a glove; on the right, after a short time in the glove.

Unlike foil-based heating systems, which can only be attached to the back of the hand and fingers due to their limited flexibility, the flexible textile heating wires in CHARLY heated gloves run along the sides of the fingers and over the fingertips. This is crucial for warming the entire hand, as it takes into account the body's reaction of directing blood away from the extremities and into the body's interior in extremely cold conditions in order to supply the vital organs.

The protected positioning of the heating element between the fingers also has the advantage of minimizing heat loss to the outside. As a result, the gloves provide noticeably more warmth for longer.
