Bluebip - Solar and Bluetooth Vario

The BlueBip is an ultra-light Bluetooth audio vario that was specially developed for paragliding. Thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity, it combines with your smartphone or tablet (Android and iOS as well as other systems) and delivers ultra-precise flight information.

Equipped with high-precision sensors, it measures the current climbing or sink rate (VZ), the barometric height, the sliding number and much more.

It is fed by the Sunpower solar technology, is constantly charging and offers over 100 hours of duration.

Thanks to the instant vario technology and the exclusive acoustics, it offers an intuitive and pleasant flight experience, while the powerful configurator enables you to adapt it according to your wishes.

The BlueBip connects via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with your smartphone or tablet (Android and iOS) as soon as you turn it on.

This allows you to use flight applications such as XCTRACK, Flyskyhy, Seeyou Navigator and many others by sending high-precision flight information such as barometric height, air pressure, climbing and sink rate and more.

Thanks to its low size, it can be attached to the helmet, the shoulder strap of the belt streak or the cockpit.

You can also expand your BlueBip by a screen by using Activelook glasses.

The BlueBip is an independent solar instrument that was specially developed for paragliding.

It combines the functions of a solar audio variometer and a "sensor box", which includes several sensors such as pressure sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope (inertia sensor).

These sensors transmit the current and integrated VZ (over 15S), the exact slide and the exact barometric height.

The sensors built into the BlueBip offer very high accuracy and are particularly suitable for use in paragliding. They exceed the sensors in smartphones.

The data measured by the BlueBIP are transmitted to the flight app (Android and iPhone) via a Bluetooth connection, using various protocols and standards. Thanks to this flexibility, most of the flight apps available on the market are directly compatible.
