DescriptionThe new Midland G18 Pro is for demanding radio operators who choose a PMR446 radio, which is able to communicate over large distances. In the normal environment, it can distance and bridge 12 km. With a clear view resp. Point point in height has even been measured many times. Thanks to a strong battery, standby times of approx. 19 hours are possible.
With the G18 Pro, the radio manufacturer Midland has developed a completely resistant PMR-446 radio, which can be used free of charge.
It is one of the most advanced models in the area of the PMR446 frequency band. A PMR446 Walkie-Talkie, which is not afraid of dust, stubborn and water puddles thanks to IP67 certification (it withstands a meter depth for 30 minutes). The military MIL-STD810G standard conformity is now added.
Some functions of the G18 Pro are the Scrambler and Compander, the output power of 500MW ERP and the channeling pitch at 12.5 kHz. The channel search, the language setting and Roger BeEP are part of it. It adds 8 PMR446 channels to the previous model, i.e. it has 16 PMR 446 channels (99 channels possible).

The Midland G18 Pro is therefore positioned at the top of the professional PMR446 radio devices.
