Due to the top performance in its class and the simple, pleasant handling, the Delta series was used for a long time as a reference in the EN-C category. The Delta 4 continues this legacy, and shows most of the previously existent increase in performance, while it also convinces with certainty, comfort and simple handling, as you are used to from a delta. Finally, these components made him so well known and popular.

Performance test

The Delta 4 shows a massive advantage in the sink speed compared to Delta 3, +12cm/s. In calm air, this ensures more altitude every minute. The performance gain is even greater in turbulent air, since the Delta 4 cuts through turbulence, and uses wind gusts to generate height, similar to a competition screen. In the accelerated flight, the maximum speed of the Delta 4 is 3 k/h higher than that of the Delta 3.

True performance

Thanks to the new profile and the optimized interior structure, we were able to significantly improve solidity in accelerated flight. The intuitive and efficient control of the angry angle also makes the Delta 4 a sliding machine. The structure of the Delta 4 is incredibly strong and stable, and the profile remains unaffected even in aggressive turbulence, maintains its shape and efficiency, and does not suffer from a loss of performance from deformations at the wing end.

New ACR system

The pilot is connected to its grand piano via the new ozone control straps (Active Control Risers), which we have taken from from the Mantra series, and can act intuitively. These innovative straps give the pilot full control over the angle of attack of the umbrella. And that across the entire speed range, without deforming the curvature of the profile. They act on both the B and C-lines and offer the control level of a 2-line with the amenities of a 3-line.

Security

The Delta 4 is super braved and the most characterized in its series so far. The umbrella is hardly susceptible to clatter by nature, and even at full speed and in strong turbulence. The behavior of the Delta 4 after a clatter is the gentlest of its series. Extensive tests have shown only a low tendency to overshoot or to rotations after a side rapper and no shock-like reopening. His behavior with front rattles is excellent: the umbrella opens again immediately.

Compared to the Delta 3, the handling of the Delta 4 has improved enormously.
