The new Geo 7 has undergone comprehensive optimization of its details, making it better than its predecessor: we have reduced its weight even further, while maintaining the best-in-class performance and agility that has made our Geo series so popular. No other wing in the beginner-intermediate category offers a comparable level of light weight and XC performance.
These refinements have improved the flight characteristics and performance of the Ozone Geo 7. The first thing you will notice compared to the Geo 6 is more linear and direct brake feedback, resulting in increased agility and precision in handling. The top speed is also higher, as is the glide performance across the entire acceleration range.
This category of wing is very important to Ozone, as it serves a wide range of pilots. The Ozone Geo 7 is the most efficient wing we have ever designed for its "true B class." We designed it for pilots who want an XC wing that is powerful, fun, and offers the best passive safety possible at this level.
The internal structure is designed for lightness and durability, with an intelligent mix of durable 32g and 40g fabric. The large surfaces are composed of Dominico N20D LE and N10D. The Ozone Geo 7 is 1.4 kg lighter than the Buzz Z7 and 125 grams lighter than the Geo 6 – and we haven't compromised on strength and durability!
The Ozone Geo 7 is designed for pilots who fly around 30-50 hours per year and want a lightweight wing that they can take with them when traveling, for hike & fly, and for XC flights. And all this with a high level of passive safety.
The Ozone Geo 7 is available with either Link-Lites (the lightest option) or conventional steel shackles, which add about 100 grams to the total weight.
