TheCharly polarheat heating gloves are special and highly innovative heating gloves with a strong Li-ion heating system, which also heats through the fingertips.

The polarheat heating gloves was specially developed into paragliding and are highly thought out and functional.

They are very well heated, robust and waterproof. In addition, they are equipped with a strongly warming polartec® micro fleece feed, so that they are ideal for winter paragliding or skiing even without the cladding of the highly effective electrical heating.

Charly’s innovative Li-ion battery heating system

The recording with a thermal imaging camera shows the course of the heating wires in the Charly gloves and how to distribute the heat into the whole hand: on the left a cold hand without glove, on the right after a short time in the glove.

In contrast to foil-based heating systems, which due to their low flexibility can only be attached to the hand and finger back, the flexible textile heating wires of the Charly heating gloves run on the side along the fingers and over the fingertips. This is crucial for warming of the whole hand, because the body's reaction is taken into account that the blood is guided away from the extremities inside the body in large cold in order to supply the vital organs there.

The protected positioning of the heating between the fingers also has the advantage that the heat loss is minimized to the outside. As a result, the gloves heat up noticeably warmer and longer.
