Charly Targetcross St Light - controllable UL cross cap.

The super-light Targetcross ST combines the low pack effort of round and cross cap with the controllability of Rogallo rescue equipment. The concept of the Targetcross does not require any pre -braking, so the system remains very simple and operational.

Three essential innovations:

  1. She has one Defined forward trip in the diagonal direction With the effect of a significantly reduced sink speed. On the one hand, this arises from a higher extension compared to conventional cross caps, the propulsion of which is mainly in the direction of one side, and on the other hand by the sloping flow of the curved sides of the Targetcross cap, which is thus obtained a float -optimized profile.
  2. The horizontal movement, which all modern round and cross caps have, can be at Targetcross ST if necessary in a certain direction be directed. Obstacles, such as power lines, can be avoided and an emergency landing area with a slide number of approx. 1: 1.5 is specifically flown in. There are no disadvantages compared to conventional cross caps at Targetcross ST.
  3. The Targetcross has different linen lengths, which means that when the cap is packed, the lanes of the base are not precisely on top of each other as usual. This dividing causes a lighter air entry at the opening and thus a compared to conventional cross caps increased opening speed.   • A short sacking phase of the Targetcross after opening prevents the creation of a "down tarpaulin" position. The Targetcross turns into a light, very stable and pendulum -free forward flight without the pilot's intervention after the short independent sacking phase.
  • The special design of the interior container optimized with the help of Tom Grabner's G-Force trainer ensures that the Targetcross is safe and with little effort. In particular, unfavorable directions of the rescue device were also considered. In any case, we therefore recommend using the original container approved with the rescue and, if necessary, to have the harvest handle of the belt witness adapted to the container by an authorized service.
  • The interior container has a separate area for the fishing lines. The parachute cap is only released after the fishing lines extended, which opens it quickly and controlled. This minimizes the risk of imposing rescuers and paragliders.
