DescriptionThe Icaro Eco flight helmet is a helmet specifically designed for air sports, combining reliable head protection, high comfort, and Italian design at an attractive price. This EN 966-certified paragliding helmet was developed specifically for air sports and is ideal for paragliding, flight students, hike & fly, and hang gliding.
With its robust ABS outer shell, shock-absorbing EPS inner shell, and an extremely lightweight design weighing just 600 g, the Icaro Eco offers a well-thought-out combination of safety and comfort. The integrated ventilation, removable inner lining, and optional visor make it a versatile flight helmet for a variety of flying conditions.
The Icaro Ecois an affordable paragliding helmet for beginners and meets the European safety standard EN 966 for helmets used in air sports. Its durable ABS outer shell protects against mechanical impacts, while the inner shell made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) absorbs impact energy and enhances safety.
The UV-resistant surface coating protects the helmet material from sunlight. The open jet helmet design offers a wide field of view and allows for good awareness of the surroundings.
The Icaro Eco helmet features a soft, removable inner lining made of Shalimar fabric. The breathable material absorbs moisture and helps wick away sweat.
The inner lining can be removed for cleaning or replaced as needed. Different padding thicknesses allow for adjustment to various head sizes.
The integrated ventilation channels ensure air circulation during flight. A padded chin strap with a micrometric quick-release buckle allows for precise and secure adjustment.
The Icaro Eco flight helmet can be equipped with an optionally available visor made of impact-resistant polycarbonate. The visor provides additional wind protection for the eyes and features a scratch-resistant and anti-fog coating.
With the removable ear pads, the Icaro Eco provides additional side wind protection and creates a more secure fit.
Without the ear pads, the open-face helmet allows for particularly direct perception of ambient sounds, variometer signals, and radio communication.
