With its robust ABS outer shell, a shock-absorbing EPS inner shell, and an individually adjustable sizing system, the Icaro Nevo offers a well-thought-out combination of safety and comfort. Dual-certified head protection – EN 966 and EN 1077

The Icaro Nevo paragliding helmet was developed specifically for air sports and winter sports. It meets two European safety standards:

• EN 966: Certification for helmets used in air sports, particularly paragliding and hang gliding.
• EN 1077: Certification for helmets used in skiing and snowboarding.

The durable ABS helmet shell protects against external impacts, while the EPS inner shell absorbs impact energy.

A special safety feature is the flush-mounted visor attachment. The aluminum swivel discs protrude no more than 5 mm beyond the helmet shell to reduce the risk of paraglider lines getting caught on them.

Custom Fit and Superior Comfort

The Icaro Nevo flight helmet features an integrated dial for precise adjustment to head circumference. The sizing system ensures a secure, comfortable fit and supports a stable fit while flying.

The removable inner lining can be cleaned or replaced. Additional cheek pads improve lateral support and ensure a comfortable fit.

The padded chin strap with a micrometric quick-release buckle allows for easy opening and closing as well as precise adjustment.

Optimal ventilation and optional helmet visor

The integrated ventilation openings promote air circulation inside the helmet and ensure a comfortable environment even during longer flights.

For additional wind and UV protection, the Icaro Nevo helmet can be retrofitted with a compatible visor. The optionally available polycarbonate visors come in various clear, tinted, and mirrored finishes.

A version with an Airfoam foam pad can further reduce direct airflow between the visor and the face.

Thanks to the special visor mechanism, the visor can be adjusted continuously. When fully open, the field of view remains unobstructed.

High-class Italian design for discerning pilots

Is the Icaro Nevo approved for paragliding and skiing?

Yes. The Icaro Nevo is certified according to EN 966 for air sports and according to EN 1077 for winter sports. It is therefore suitable for skiers and snowboarders as well as paragliders and hang gliders and can be used for both. This saves you from having to buy an extra helmet for winter sports.

Can I retrofit a visor to the Icaro Nevo?

Yes. The helmet is compatible with optional Icaro Eco / Nevo visors. Clear, tinted, and mirrored versions are available, as well as variants with Airfoam.

Is the inner lining removable?

Yes. The inner padding is replaceable and can be removed for cleaning. Additionally, the fit can be adjusted using the integrated dial.

What is the difference between the Icaro Nevo ABS and Carbon models?

Both versions offer the same basic safety and comfort features. The Carbon version has a carbon fiber outer shell and is lighter than the ABS version.
