The Hawk is part of the new generation of Niviuk harnesses. Its tail-finless design makes it the ideal model for transitioning from a sit-back harness to a recumbent harness. Pilots who don’t want to compromise on safety with their first recumbent harness will find the Hawk to be the best choice.
The Hawk is available in four sizes: S, M, L, and XL.
The leg bag is made of durable, semi-lightweight Lycra and can be adjusted to fit the pilot’s body using a simple system of sliding knots, zippers, and magnets. The Hawk offers an excellent fit and an easy closure system.
The Hawk features a large integrated cockpit with a magnetic system that can be easily opened even in flight, as well as a specially designed pocket for various electronic devices with a cable pass-through and a 4L compartment for ballast (size M).
The combination of different materials, such as low-density open-cell foam and ultra-low-density closed-cell foam, results in a lightweight protector just 15 cm thick that guarantees 34G of impact absorption.
The Hawk features a T-Lock closure system with two AustriAlpin Kobra buckles for maximum safety. Thanks to its great flexibility and versatility, the harness adapts perfectly to the pilot and is extremely safe and easy to use.
