Very well suited for paragliding or other extreme sports, the WindsRiders down jacket has specially longer sleeves than ordinary down jackets and is equipped with a thumb loop.

Personal rating

I'm a fan of this jacket... the Thermik Race Jacket is just as nice as the Reverse and Light Jackets, but without a hood! Depending on your taste and plans, one may be better than the other! When paragliding, the hood can sometimes get in the way. A jacket without a hood is very practical in this case.

It is superbly made and, thanks to the 700Cuin down filling and windproof 20D nylon, really keeps you extremely warm in all weather conditions. I love the longer sleeves compared to normal down jackets, which are specially made for paragliding, and the thumb loops on the sleeves, which make it easy to put on gloves. It can also be packed down extremely small!
