The remote control allows you to operate the XC Tracer Maxx easily without having to release the brakes. It has the same functionality as the red button on the Maxx. The remote control is very practical and increases your safety when flying and operating the Maxx at the same time!

Attach the supplied Velcro strap to the lower part of the carrying strap as tightly and securely as possible. Before each flight, loop the red safety line of the RC onto the carrying strap and attach the RC to the Velcro strap. The remote control only consumes power when the button is pressed, so it is not a good idea to leave the remote control attached to the carrying strap, as the battery will be completely drained in 2-3 days if the button is accidentally pressed. Therefore, remove the remote control from the carrying strap after each flight.

In addition to the remote control, the XC Tracer Maxx can transfer data to a cell phone, tablet, or e-reader via BLE.

Here's how to pair the remote control with your Maxx:

• Turn on the XC Tracer Maxx in flight mode (i.e., not connected to a PC).
• Hold the remote control as close as possible to the side of the Maxx with the USB port. Press and hold the red button on the remote control until the Maxx beeps briefly.
• The remote control is now paired with the Maxx (note: this only needs to be done once).
